Pre-examination Questionnaires
Pre-examination questionnaires are designed to help improve conversion rates and increase the amount of money that your patients spend with you.
Using the questionnaires in your practice will improve the communication between your practice and your patients and have the effect of 'warming the patient up' before their eye examination.
How do the questionnaires work?
The Optical Assistant/Receptionist together with the patient sit down together to complete the questionnaire immediately before the eye examination takes place. From this discussion the OA/Receptionist can gather information about any problems the patient may be having with their eyes and also the needs of the patient e.g. are they interested in looking at new spectacles.
The questionnaire allows the patient to understand the patient journey more and also should motivate the patient to look away from price towards product and service options that best meets their needs.
The information from the questionnaires can then be passed onto the Optometrist during the handover so that they too have a good idea of what the customer is looking for and also any problems they may be having.
Most of the information needs to be transferred to your practice management computer to allow for easy processing. The original should be stored with the patient record cards.
The Pre-examination questionnaires are free of charge and consist of 2 types of questionnaire (1 for existing patients and 1 for new patients).
